CalSync Alarm Privacy Policy

The Japanese version of this Privacy Policy is the authoritative version. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and this English translation, the Japanese version shall prevail.

1. Introduction

Inventy Inc. ("the Company") considers the protection of users' personal information and privacy in the iOS application "CalSync Alarm" ("the App") to be of utmost importance. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information the App collects, the purposes of use, storage methods, and sharing with third parties.

2. Information We Collect

2-1. Google Account information

The App uses Google Sign-In for authentication. During this process, we obtain the following information:

OAuth authentication token	Authentication for Google Calendar API and Google Tasks API access

2-2. Google Calendar data

With the user's consent, the App obtains the following information through the Google Calendar API:

Event titles	Used as alarm display names
Event start/end times	Calculating alarm times
Event notification settings	Referencing alarm notification timing
Calendar type/ID	Identifying calendars to sync

2-3. Google Tasks data

With the user's consent, the App obtains and updates the following information through the Google Tasks API:

Information	Purpose
Task titles	Used as alarm display names and to show the task list
Task due dates	Calculating alarm times
Task completion status	Showing the task list, and updating (writing) when the user marks a task complete within the App
Task list ID/name	Identifying the tasks to retrieve

Other than updating task completion status, the App does not create or delete the user's Google Tasks.

2-4. Data generated within the App

Morning reminder time setting	Triggering the daily morning reminder alarm
Alarm ON/OFF settings	Managing alarms for user-selected events
Subscription status	Determining premium feature availability

2-5. Information we do NOT collect

The App does not collect the following information:

Location data
Contacts
Photos or media
Health or fitness data
Device advertising identifier (IDFA)
Event descriptions, attendee information, or attachments

3. Data Storage

All calendar and task data and app settings collected by the App are stored locally on the user's device. Storage is managed using Apple's SwiftData framework.
The Company does not transmit or store user data obtained through the App on our servers.
OAuth authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain (encrypted secure storage).

4. Third-Party Disclosure

The Company does not sell, rent, or share users' personal information with third parties.
The App communicates with the following external services:
- Google (Google Sign-In, Google Calendar API, Google Tasks API): For user authentication and calendar/task data retrieval. All communications are encrypted via HTTPS. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- Apple (StoreKit, AlarmKit): For subscription management and system alarm registration. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Other than the above, we will not disclose user data to third parties except when required by law.

CalSync Alarm's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use this information for advertising or sell it to third parties, and we use it solely to provide the features described in this Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising and Tracking

The App does not contain advertising features, tracking functionality, or analytics SDKs. We do not collect, analyze, or share user behavioral data with third parties.

6. Data Deletion

Users can delete their data through the following methods:

Signing out from the App: Signing out from the settings screen within the App will delete the OAuth authentication token.
Deleting the App: Removing the App from the device will delete all locally stored data (cached calendar data, settings).
Revoking access from Google Account: Users can revoke CalSync Alarm's access permissions from their Google Account security settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information of a child under 13 has been collected, we will promptly delete it.

8. Security

All API communications with Google are conducted over HTTPS (TLS encryption).
OAuth authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain and protected by the device's hardware security.
Calendar data is stored in SwiftData on the device and encrypted by iOS data protection features.
However, we cannot guarantee complete security of information transmitted over the internet.

9. Changes to This Policy

The Company may modify this Privacy Policy as necessary.
In the case of significant changes, users will be notified through in-app notifications or by posting on our website.
The modified Policy shall take effect upon being posted within the App or on our website.
